Honda Cloud Silver + Clear – Aerosol Cans – SL Frame Paint

1 Aerosol Can of Matched Honda Cloud Silver PPG DBC Paint + Aerosol Clear.

This is a 2-stage paint and will require clear over the top.  This particular color was used on many of the Honda SL Motorsport series bikes and also on the CT70 and Z50 Wheels.  Also used on early Honda Scrambler fenders and Tanks.  Over the years, I have matched many of the original colors from Vintage Motorcycles and I have the process to put a high quality automotive grade paint into an aerosol can.  Many of these colors are true “Candy” and will require a base color as the Candy Dye is Semi-Transparent and uses the base color to create the effect.   This is exactly the same paint products that we utilize in our paint shop.  I create the cans of paint upon order and if you order by end of day on Friday I ship the following week.  This ensures that the paint is fresh and ready to shoot.

DISCLAIMER: I have bought many NOS parts painted in the Candy Colors. I can personally tell you that there are discrepancies in the lightness / darkess of the parts. Candy Colors are Transparent, and that means that the more coats you apply, the less of the base coat you see through it and therefore it will appear darker. I always recommend that you paint an entire body kit at the same time or make sure that you have the original piece next to your painter and ask him to be sure not to put too many coats on before checking for a match. Also, anytime there is the existence of a Candy in any of the formula’s, a catalyst or ‘hardener’ must be used. Painting with this type of paint is best left to a professional. Even some of the non-candy colors have an element of candy in them, such as the Light Ruby Red that came on the SL70 K0’s and the SL175K1.

No International Shipping.

Unfortunately I have no way to ship paint supplies out of the country. It is illegal to ship them with the USPS.

I have started the process to gain "Hazardous Shipper" status with FedEx, but not sure what that means or when it will happen.
