1971 Honda CB500 Four
Candy Garnet Brown / Black
CB500-1002755 – CB500E-1002964
Plain and simple. How about one of the nicest honest original low mile 1st year CB500 K0 4 Cylinder!!!!!!
First year introduction of the mid-sized CB500 4 cylinder or as better known, “the Mid Sized Brother of the CB750”. This is an honest to original bike that was well kept and then just a whole bunch of detailing went into resurrecting what you see here. The original owner stored the original pipes and ran a 4 into 2 header and then provided the original pipes which are pretty much perfect. Engine does not appear to have been gone into at any time and runs as it should. Beautiful Gauges, Beautiful Chrome……………….overall a very sharp bike.
Recent Service: Fluids, Rebuilt Front Brake master Cylinder, Tires, Carburetor builds and Sync and new cables all around. Original tank badges were removed and restored and an NOS tank was added recently. The original tank was free of dents, but had the usual scratches from 50+ years of service so it was replaced. Ultra low miles (4,010) at the time of this writing. This bike in this condition is very difficult to find and will appreciate due to its’ rarity and originality. All lights, signals, horn function as they should.
For Nostalgia sake, take a look at the June 1971 Cycle Magazine Cover and see if you know who the girl is that is posing with the CB500 Motorcycle. Hint: 10
Title in Hand.
